Final Fantasy X HD video shows off Vita's remastered graphics
Remember the Final Fantasy X HD remake? Square Enix has finally shown off footage from the game, running on a Vita.
Back in 2011, Square Enix announced an HD remake of Final Fantasy X. And then, it disappeared.
Lo and behold, Square Enix has decided to remind the world that the game still exists at a recent Vita-focused press conference. Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto showed off the game running on a Vita, whilst apologizing for the game's lengthy disappearance. According to Polygon, the game is expected to release in Japan "soon." (Whatever that means to Square Enix.)
Although the upcoming PS3/Vita game is simply a "remaster," and not a remake, Square Enix promised "much more beautiful" visuals than before. Take a look at this screenshot from the original PS2 game and then compare it to this newly released video:

Whoa, you have a pretty nostalgic memory, then. The game didn't age so well, in my opinion. These new out of cutscene character models look great. The old ones were... really not that nicelooking, even when the game first came out. Every character's out of cutscene model looked stiff and lifeless. If those are the out of cutscene character models that will be used in the remaster, they look almost as good as the old in cutscene character models.
