Skyrim 1.8 update preps PlayStation 3 for Dragonborn
Skyrim is getting a 1.8 update on PlayStation 3, to prepare the game for the first DLC pack set to hit tomorrow.
PlayStation 3 owners are finally about to receive downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim tomorrow. But first, you'll have to download the 1.8 update, which includes a few bug fixes of its own.
According to a post on the Bethesda Blog, the update includes fixes to a crash involving the vampiric grip, one involving the Arnleif and Sons Trading Company becoming permanently locked, fixes to duplicate NPCs and stuck doors, and various other stability improvements.
Next week, PS3 users will get Hearthfire, and then Dawnguard will follow on February 26. As previously reported, all of the packs will be 50% off as a make-good gesture since the content was delayed for so long on the platform.
