Sonic All-Stars Transformed making pit-stop on 3DS February 12
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming to 3DS next Tuesday, February 12.
If you've been hankering for a portable kart racer and worn out your copy of Mario Kart 7, next week might be just what the doctor ordered. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is set to hit the 3DS next Tuesday, February 12.
The announcement on the Sega Blog details a few of the added features for the 3DS version. It sports Mii support, StreetPass challenges, and the ability to take on up to seven other players with multi- or single-cart play. Like the console versions, it will feature Danica Patrick and Wreck-It Ralph as guest racers, and the first-run bonus edition includes Metal Sonic with a mod pack and some extra time trials and stickers.
The game was met with generally positive reviews on consoles. While we can't speak to the quality of the 3DS port without having played it, the game at least has a solid foundation to build on.
