Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 slowly turning away from exploding Wii U on February 7
The Wii U is already dead, but it won't look puzzled, groan, convulse, bloat, then burst in a shower of blood until February 7. See, publisher Tecmo Koei today confirmed that's when Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 will hit Nintendo's shiny new gamebox, two days after launching a flurry of blows to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Ken's Rage smooshes the bloody manga and anime series Fist of the North Star with Dynasty Warriors-style mass mankillings. Retelling the manga, it boasts over 20 playable characters to beat the juicy stuffing out of gangs, warlords and mutants in Post-Apocalypseland.
On top of moves which let you throw a hundred punches in one second and exploit pressure points to explode men, Ken's Rage 2 introduces such exotic martial arts techniques as 'sprint' and 'dodge.' It adds online co-op and competitive modes, too.
While Ken's Rage 2 is getting a boxed retail release on Xbox 360, the Wii U and PlayStation 3 shall only see imaginary downloadable versions.

Seriously; someone link a picture of a frowning Reggie Fils-Aime. I had to read http://www.siliconera.com/2013/01/14/fist-of-the-north-star-kens-rage-2-gets-a-collectors-edition-in-france-and-italy/ to find out what's actually going on.
As for why they're not releasing retail on all platforms, perhaps it's because Tecmo Koei isn't exactly drowning in profits right now. Consider that Konami released Silent Hill HD Collection on 360, retail disc, only to say they weren't patching it because it would've been too expensive, versus the number of copies sold. As far as the big Japanese publishers go, if their name isn't Nintendo or Capcom, they have to pick and choose their battles. -
