Need for Speed: Most Wanted had Jeff buzzing in his review. And predictably, developer Criterion Games is expanding the game with new DLC. Come December 18, the first DLC for the game will add five super-fast cars to your garage so you can continue to mock the cops in Fairhaven.

As part of the Ultimate Speed Pack, players will get the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. There will also be 25 new events and 70 speed-related milestones. The DLC will be available on Origin, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live for $9.99 (800 MS Points).

Additionally, a new free iOS app called Need for Speed Autolog is now available, letting you keep tabs on what your friends are doing or update your profile on the go, if you can't wait to get back to your console or PC.

So was this game any good? Was thinking about picking it up the other day cause I enjoy a racer every now again, but held off cause I pretty much didn't hear anything about it when it released.

I'm enjoying it, it plays almost exactly like Burnout Paradise with cops.

Great if other friends have it. Things get super competitive, tells you when a friend beats your time in a race, billboards with your friend's pictures on it on stunt jumps. Speed Cameras with the fastest speeds past a particular point. Very fun.

The rubberbanding in the campaign mode is super annoying. You can send a guy into a wall and he's on your ass in seconds.

Too bad they can't bring the concept of gears to the game. I don't expect Simbin realism from anything Criterion is within 5,000 kilometers of, but really - automatic sports cars is just wrong even in a casual/arcade racer.

yeah...thats because some people hate shifting and some audiences want an arcade-y racer. Its my same feeling about drifting. its a core mechanic these days, and it sucks.

Umm, these are all just variants of existing cars in the game aren't they?

      A little boring.

I was thinking the same thing, I can't believe they're selling it for 10 bucks as well.
