Field Report: Mass Effect 3 Omega DLC
Mass Effect 3's Omega DLC feels like and add-on, and an poorly implemented one at that. High points were fleeting, giving the bulk of the content a superfluous feel. Not the best of BioWare's attempts to expand the ME3 universe.

I've long enjoyed this franchise and have purchased all the DLC from day one. While I have the utmost respect for the team and the Development house, you expressed my reaction to this DLC almost perfectly.
Unfortunately the ending has soured me almost to the point of no return. I've enjoyed the DLC up to now, and had some enjoyment with this DLC, but when you already know the ending is going to make everything you've done for three games absolutely moot, then it is hard to enjoy even masterfully executed story, let alone stale and shallow.
I read confirmations of one last SP DLC that they've pulled in all the writers in for, and I want to hope this one measures up to past work and returns some of my faith in Bioware and this franchise. I will however keep my hopes in check for the foreseeable future. Enjoyed your review, thank you.-
See, I didn't mind the ending. I just dislike how DLC has been implemented in the series since Mass Effect 2. That game had a "no turning back" ending, too, and the DLC always felt tacked on, even with how good some of it was.
1UP has a great column that nails exactly what I've been feeling with the ME3 DLC, but couldn't quite put my finger on. Check it out: http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=9116059
