You might have thirty bucks in your pocket and a hankering for emotionally devastating storytelling, but you'll have to hold off another week. Telltale announced today that the retail release of its critically acclaimed The Walking Dead is coming December 11, rather than tomorrow as previously planned.

The set is coming for $29.99. As previously reported, you can shell out $69.99, for the Collector's Edition, which includes a 48-issue compendium of the comic book and a box featuring Charlie Adlard artwork. Best Buy stores will stock an exclusive version featuring a cover variant and poster insert. The PC version is also a Best Buy exclusive.
