Beyond Good & Evil 2 development held up by Rayman
Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been stuck in limbo since it was first revealed the game existed in 2008. Ubisoft has continued to assure those anticipating the sequel to the well-received adventure game that it is still in development, but now we know a bit more on why there has been little movement on the game. It's all because of Rayman.

Designer Michel Ancel has wanted to work on the project, but he is "doing too many things at the same time," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told Polygon. "He was working on Rayman Origins last year, and he's working a lot on Rayman Legends this year. So, you know, when he does that, he kind of puts too much of his time on the other projects that he has. So the fact is, that working on Legends is slowing the process on Beyond Good & Evil 2."
Guillemot added that Ubisoft has been working on the game and that it is "one they want to do," but apparently the game will continue to be a much lower priority until Legends is released sometime early next year.

I'm so damn pissed off at Ubisoft that they did nothing for PC regarding the re-release of BG&E.
The new high res UI looks fine and it would've been great to receive an update to the Steam version for example.
Otherwise the PC version has always been more HD than the console versions will ever be with their 720p cap.
