Wii getting Just Dance, Skylanders bundles for holiday
Nintendo is launching two Wii holiday bundles on November 4, one with Just Dance 4 and the other with Skylanders Giants.
Nintendo may be launching the Wii U, but it hasn't forgotten the system's predecessor. The company is offering two new bundles for the system this year, one featuring Just Dance 4 and the other Skylanders Giants. In both cases, the bundles offer a significant discount over buying the games separately. The bundles go on sale November 4.
The Just Dance bundle includes the game, a white console, and matching controller with nunchuck, for $129.99. That's the new price of the console itself, but with the dance title instead of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
The Skylanders bundle includes the game, a blue console with matching controller and nunchuck, the Portal peripheral, two Skylanders and one exclusive Giant Skylander, for $149.99. That's $20 higher than the standard console MSRP, of course -- but considering the base Skylyanders Giants set similarly includes three characters and costs $75 alone, that's not a bad deal. It's worth noting, for you collectors, that the "exclusive" Giant is simply a repaint of Tree Rex with blue accents, as opposed to the red in the normal figure.
