Forza Horizon details first expansion, Season Pass details
Forza Horizon developer Playground Games has detailed the first expansion pack coming to the game on December 18, along with more details about the content included with the pricey Season Pass.
Forza Horizon has been the subject of much discussion for its pricey season pass. But now that its October 23 launch is quickly rounding the corner, developer Playground Games has shared some more details on its various DLC and expansion plans.
According to the game's official site, the "Rally Expansion Pack" will be due on December 18. It will cost $20 (1600 MSP), and it will be included as part of the the Season Pass. Playground promises new events, more cars, and new achievements as part of the pack.
The game will then get monthly packs of cars, which will cost $5 apiece. Season Pass holders will get the first six of these, to release between November 2012 and April 2013, which implies that more car packs will follow and won't be included in the Season Pass. The Season Pass also grants you an exclusive bonus car every month for five months, starting with the 2006 Lamborghini Miura Concept car in November. The Month One Car Pack includes a 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione, 2012 Gumpert Apollo Enraged, 2012 Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J, and 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
The Season Pass costs $50 (4000 MSP), so now that details have been shared you can make an informed decision on whether or not that's worth it to you.
Finally, those who play Forza Horizon within the first week will receive a 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor. As previously reported, downloading and playing the demo will get you a 2013 SRT Viper GTS with custom livery. To those of us who aren't fluent in gear-head, all this boils down to "a whole bunch of cars."

I have Forza 2,3,4 and the Porsche DLC and I will not buy this game. Its garbage, the cars drive like a bath tub. Just cause it has the Forza name on it does not mean its good. Stop trying to be a cash cow like COD and put out games that are worth the money. I have hundreds of hours in each Forza and have enjoyed every minute.
As a die hard Forza fan this game is a black mark on the Forza name.
