Mass Effect 3 is getting another piece of downloadable content, and BioWare boasts it will be the biggest one yet. The "Omega" add-on is coming to the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 27 for $15. It will focus on the wretched hive of scum and villainy that was featured in the second game.

Eurogamer reports that producer Mike Gamble shared details about the pack at New York ComicCon. Gamble says the content will be "double the size" of the largest pack so far, by which he probably means this summer's Leviathan DLC.

You'll team up with the shady Aria T'loak to retake the station from Cerberus. The story continues from the Mass Effect 3: Invasion comics, and may be the extension of a piece of cut script that was discovered earlier this year by clever code-diggers. BioWare also promises the DLC will include new enemies and that we'll see what a female Turian looks like. Finally.

Same. Although I must admit that I am a bit more interested in this new mission as it actually involves an important character from the second game.

I'll have to take a wait and see approach on this one. I didn't buy Leviathan because it didn't bring much to the table and had no effect on the ending.

I'm with you guys, I have no interest in going back and playing the DLC when they have no true effect on the ending of the game. I think the only DLC I purchased after I had beaten the game was Arrival since that actually had some story plot lines that tied into ME 3. This to me is one of those games that doesn't really benefit from DLC

I have no idea why you guys are putting so much importance to DLC having an affect on the end-game. Why does that matter whatsoever? It would be nice for some DLC to do that but it is not necessary in the least.

Any DLC that is well made is fine with me whether or not it ties into the end-game, ya know why? Cause I enjoy the Mass Effect universe and the characters within it, and the combat is good too. Like I said it's beyond me why you give so much of a shit; you obviously just don't like the Mass Effect universe in general and should shut the hell up about it cause your opinion wouldn't matter about it anyway.

I love the universe and characters but the games have always been about making decisions and watching them play out.

The ending sucked so I feel like there is no point making any more decisions if it's just gonna end in that same shitty way.

I liked Aria as a character so I'll consider this release but I'm definitely not going to buy the DLC day one like I did for ME1 and 2.

Since the ending was unsatisfying and fleshing out plot points that could've been done beforehand. The fact this DLC has no ramifications makes it uninteresting.

His "giving a shit" is just an opinion based on the bad taste left by ME3's ending. People's desire to pay and play through a story which adds nothing to their character has waned. The ME1 + 2 DLC was attractive because it was MORE to your legacy. This isn't.

you obviously just don't like the Mass Effect universe in general and should shut the hell up about it cause your opinion wouldn't matter about it anyway.

Yeah it should be above criticism because they don't agree with your fucking opinion.

That's subjective. And ME3's combat is good? Compared to what, ME1?

I couldn't care less about future DLC, not with the huge screen I got in my face when I completed ME3 telling me to buy DLC. Such a sell-out.

Well Leviatan expanded well on what the Reapers were/are and how they came into being and added some awesome backstory that makes the ending cooler, but it doesn't really change it, just how you understand it. If you don't want to buy it ok, just know that the DLC has some of the better plot lines of the game lore wise.

DLC doesn't really sit well with long story driven games.

well I'm curious, I would purchase this if omega's a new quest hub. or honestly if there's any new hub.
but if it's just kill rooms with a few choices I'll pass and spend that time getting folks to play MP with me.
