Hate it when I forget to fill in the summary properly:
It's Friday, Shackers, and a slow one at that. So it's time for another edition of the Friday Feeding**, where I open the floor for any topic you want to discuss. It can be anything from things in the industry to things on TV to what's going on at Shacknews. I'll kick things off with a few observations, and you readers can take it from there.
Today's topics in the Morning Caffeinated: Planetary Annihilation, Epic Games, Wasteland 2, Diablo 3, and learn why Friday DGAS became the Friday Feeding.
Make with the conversation folks, and have a good weekend.-
Keefer! What should I play this weekend for all to marvel at my incompetence at a hobby I've had for 3 decades? http://www.shacknews.com/chatty?id=28844131#item_28844131

I'm not concerned about Wastelend 2. I agree that the video wasn't too exciting but it was really just a brief technical demo to show backers (and I guess industry folk) that they are actually doing something. I don't think the game is in the state yet to be able show entire areas and systems. If we fault them for anything it would be for showing the game at all when it's still so early. But I personally am glad to get a bit of an idea of what the game will look like. They already seem to have more to show than Shadowrun which started about the same time. They have pretty much only shown some concept art and a mock-up painting of what a typical scene might look like in the game.
