If you have been missing killing some Helghast, now's your chance to jump back into the fray. Sony has announced the three full Killzone games will be released in one package as the Killzone Trilogy, coming to PlayStation 3 in October.
The entire package will sell for $40 and will include the three previously released Killzone 2 DLC map packs and Killzone 3 map packs. The original Killzone, released on PS2, is being given the HD remake treatment and will support Trophies.
The package will hit retail on October 23. A standalone version of Killzone HD will be available on the PlayStation Network as well.

didn't killzone 1 suck?

I thought it was underrated, but I wished it was on the xbox at the time because the frame rate was so low on the PS2.

They were giving KillZone 1 the HD treatment already, then it was pushed back with no reason or later date given, many presumed it canceled. But since they only delayed it, they'll have the whole series as a PS3 version. I think it only makes sense to offer the three of them together.
