I did, I was obsessed with that game but it was tough as balls. And I think it's possible that no game has scared me as much until Creepers were invented in Minecraft. When you make a wrong move and hear your computer screaming "SS!!! SS!!!" at you? Holy shit... I had a little 11-year old heart attack each time.
I also played Return to Castle Wolfenstein a bit as well. They added quite a bit of complexity to the game (you had ID's you could carry, you would limp when wounded and you could wear uniforms as a disguise)... but the original was always the best. I actually did escape the castle once... it took all the effort and concentration I had... I think I shed a tear of joy. I had probably been working at it for half a year or so.
