Total War Battles: Shogun now on PC, Mac
Sega has released the iOS game Total War Battles: Shogun for PC and Mac via Steam.
If you don't own an iDevice, you might have missed out on the mobile strategy title Total War Battles: Shogun. The game was a bit simplified from its PC counterparts, but it relied on the same core mechanics. It even came from the same team as the standard Total War series--and now, the game is available on PC and Mac via Steam.
The real-time strategy game offers a 10-hour campaign across a hex-based map, and the Steam version offers Achievements and leaderboard support. Plus it's only $7.99, not too far above the iOS title at $4.99.

Does anyone know if you still get the DLC code at the end of the game?

I disagree with this: The game was a bit simplified from its PC counterparts, but it relied on the same core mechanics.
I've played a few hours* of this game on my iPad and it has very little in common with the Total War PC games I've played in the past (Shogun, Medieval, Rome, Medieval 2). It's not a bad game (I haven't really decided if I like it or not), but don't go into this expecting a bare-bones Total War because you will be disappointed like I was.
Watch this and see for yourself. It's the first 15 minutes of the game and explains the core mechanics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDldfPaFngc
* If the game suddenly opens up and drastically changes after a few hours and I haven't hit that point, I apologize and retract everything above, but I am several missions in and I've watched some gameplay videos, so I seriously doubt it's going to change much from what I've seen so far.)
