For the first time, a Castlevania game is coming to PC. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be the first in the series to make the transition from console, producer Dave Cox has revealed. But don't expect the game to come to Wii U.
Cox tweeted that the popular franchise would finally be making its way to the PC, but told followers later that the Wii U, just wasn't in the Alu-cards: "How many people have a Wii U? #zero How many people have a PC #lots - Never say never for Wii U but hard to make a case!"
The sequel was announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in May as the "shocking conclusion" to the story.

Cool, Dishonored looks like a winner am looking forward to it for sure, good one. I just wonder if it really is locked down and not so open world as some thought it be. There are mixed reports on that have you played it? For me it doesn't matter I will still get it but open world would blow my mind if it was true.

I have only played the mission I previewed at QuakeCon. You appear bound to stay in certain areas where the missions occur, but how you travel and get through those areas is incredibly open and varied. The way the mission was set up didn't make it appear you could freely run from mission to mission. But I may be wrong.

So they make a LoS game for the 3DS but ignore the Wii U. Konami isn't showing much confidence in the console if they aren't putting one of their major 2013 titles on it. Every new game that is announced that doesn't have a wii u version is another hit against buying the console. I'm not going to be happy with a software drought in the first half of the year while xbox/ps3 get several quality titles and neither will anyone else who buys the system.

Can you blame them? The system is supposedly on par power wise with the current gen of systems, has a LCD tablet thingy that will probably bring the price way above the competition, placed the analog sticks above all the face buttons (which just doesn't seem good to me). The only reason the Wii sold in the 1st place is because they did things different with the motion controls (that had a small knitch group, sure in the end motion controls sucked but there were some that thought they might add to games).
Wii U doesn't look different enough to really grab an audience. Only reason to buy this system IMO is all things Nintendo, I hate to say it but this might be more of a sequel to the Gamecube then the Wii sales wise.

Eh, I'll just buy it for PS3 anyways. No point in having the collection spread across 3 systems. I still have to buy a 3ds for my pre ordered mof. :/
Unless they ported the first one as well. I'd love to play that over and over again on much higher settings. I'd also be able to get more people to try it that I know would really appreciate the story. Do ittttt!!!
