Today at EA's Gamescom press briefing, the company announced another world event for Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Grand Acquisition, as it's called, seems to be a scavenger hunt across the galaxy. The new event was teased with a video, imitating a news clip about "disturbing activities of the Chevin Congolmerate."

The event is available now, according to new BioWare Austin general manager Matt Bromberg. This is in preparation for the game's switch to a free-to-play model in the near future. Check out the teaser trailer below.
