PlanetSide 2 beta coming early next week
Sony Online's president John Smedley has confirmed the PlanetSide 2 beta should be coming Monday or Tuesday of next week. A new trailer for the game has also been released, showing that "Death is no excuse."
We're rather enthused by SOE's upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS PlanetSide 2. Soon, we'll be able to see if the game lives up to its promise, as SOE president John Smedley has said the beta for the game should begin early next week.
"The beta will start next Monday or Tuesday, barring any unforeseen circumstances," the enthusiastic president tweeted.
If you're hankering to get in the beta, SOE is still taking signups. The full game should be available later this year.
