Angry Birds Trilogy coming to consoles with Kinect & Move support
Angry Birds Trilogy will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS this holiday.
This year, one of the world's most beloved trilogies comes to an end. The Dark Knight Angry Birds Trilogy will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS this holiday.
Teased at E3 as "Angry Birds HD," the Trilogy puts the original Angry Birds, Seasons, and Rio on one retail disc/cartridge. "Built from the ground up" for HDTVs, this enhanced remake will include "new cinematics" and extras presented in HD.
"The backgrounds have been animated, we've added lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, the list goes on and on," Rovio's Petri Järvilehto told IGN. "We believe that there are a lot of people on the consoles who appreciate a great casual game play experience. This is a game that resonates across a wide audience on many platforms."
Angry Birds Trilogy will support Kinect for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Move for PS3, giving players a new way to fling avian suicide warriors at hapless squealers. Will the console version replicate the success of the mobile original?
