Nuclear Union coming from Men of War creator
Between S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Day Z and Metro 2033, post-apocalyptic (former) Soviet states are very much the places to be. Men of War creator Best Way is off to those merry lands too with its RPG Nuclear Union, announced today for PC by publisher 1C.

Nuclear Union's set in an alternate timeline, where the Cuban missile crisis sparked nuclear armageddon. Naturally, the Soviets had prepared with underground bunker cities, and it's from one of these that the star, a Soviet pilot who dropped nuclear bombs on the US, emerges in the year 2012. Only, 50 years of irradiation and strife mean the world's a bit different.
Talk of anomalies, mutants, a open-ish world makes it all sound a bit S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-y, which certainly is welcome considering the troubles that series has faced. You'll be able to recuit companions, and supposedly have a fair amount of freedom in how to achieve your ultimate goal.
Nuclear Union's due exclusively on PC in 2013. Hit the official site for more information.
