Angry Birds coming to consoles
Angry Birds is apparently making the trek to more platforms, as an Activison teaser reel highlighted the game and a spokesperson commented on "HD consoles."
The Angry Birds franchise is doing well for itself, having passed a billion downloads last month. That was bolstered by the variety of platforms and versions of the game that have come out, and the series is about to add a few more.
IGN reports that one of the birds was spotted in a teaser reel at Activision's E3 booth. An Activision spokesperson said an announcement is coming in the next few weeks, and commented: "Wait until you see it on consoles in HD." He wouldn't go into detail about platforms or if it will be a direct port, however. We would assume an updated version for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U are on the list.
(A version is currently available for PS3 via the Minis program. It does not run in HD, however.)
