The horrors still lurking in the shadows of our modern world are to be revealed in Sacrilegium, a survival horror from Two Worlds creator Reality Pump. Announced at E3 by publisher TopWare, it's coming to PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Players will embark upon a merry romp from San Francisco to darkest Europe as Alexis, a young college student from California. TopWare is weirdly insistent that "while fully aware of her breathtaking beauty, she never is looking to use it to her advantage." It seems the publisher's willing to use that to its advantage, though, slapping a drawing of her midriff-baring goth garb over the official site. "A large array of dangerous and mysterious monstrosities" are promised for Alexis to defeat with her grey matter and martial arts prowess, including "the enigmatic Moroi – a creature most resembling a vampire, but able to eat a vampire for breakfast." Sounds a bit on the violent side of survival horror, then. Sacrilegium is built upon Reality Pump's own engine GRACE 2, a jazzed-up version of the tech behind Two Worlds 2. There's no word yet on when it'll be released.

Control, this is Schmidt. Just to check--can we arrest monsters simply for being monsters?
