Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition shown for Wii U
Warner Bros and Rocksteady showed off a new version of Batman: Arkham City, titled "Armored Edition." It packs new exclusive armor for Batman and Catwoman, along with touch-screen features for Batman's gadgets.
Today at Nintendo's E3 2012 press briefing, Warner Bros Interactive and Rocksteady showed off the new edition of Batman: Arkham City, subtitled "Armored Edition." It features the touch screen for gadgets, along with armored Batman and Catwoman suits exclusive to the Wii U version. WB Games Montreal is developing the port.
The new armor isn't just to look pretty, though. Instead, Batman's new armor stores up kinetic energy and is then used as a power-up to deal more damage in "BAT mode." The gameplay video also showed the Batarang being steered with the controller, and placing explosives with the smaller screen appearing in Detective Vision.
