Mad Riders trailer goes heavy on the meta

Mad Riders has released a launch trailer for its release next week, which cheekily pokes fun at game trailer cliches.

Off-road racing game Mad Riders has a release date of May 29, and studio Techland has found a clever way to get its trailer noticed. Rather than release a video showing off the features as normal, it's released a cheeky commentary on game trailers as a whole.

The trailer pokes fun at trailer cliches like teaser-teasers and artsy slow-motion. The game is coming next week to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 for $9.99 (800 MSP).

    That was funny. I have been hoping the game will be good. My ATV Offroad Fury itch hasn't been scratched in a long time.
