AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome developer and naming wizard Dejobaan Games has been tinkering with a curious first-person shooter prototype for a while, and is now happy enough to declare it a proper game. Yes, Drunken Robot Pornography is an actual thing, and should come to PC and Mac this year.

Drunken Robot Pornography is not whatever its name might suggest, rather an FPS focused on destroying gigantic 'Titan' robots in boss-style arena battles, blasting them apart piece by piece.

You can also design your own Titans, laying out the skeleton, attaching actuators and jets to move it, slapping on weapons and armour where you fancy, and picking fuel to change its behaviour. Then you can smash it yourself, or share it with other players, so they can smash it.

Hit the official site for more, and here's a peek at the prototype build Dejobaan took to PAX East:

I'm all for fighting giant robots. In the sequel they should have it take place in a destructible city.

What happened to their 1, 2, 3 Kick It beta?

They seem to be working on both semi- concurrently, based on their twitter. I think maybe they realized Kick It needed a fairly significant rework and are hedging their bets not-going-out-of-businesswise by working on an additional game that doesn't have that same level of tricky rebalancing necessary.

Yeah, Kick It is pretty much unplayable due to how badly designed it is.
Shame too, it was really promising.

reminds me of Jumping Flash. Was hoping for something more Sorayama-like

I think I'd rather play Custom Robo.
