I built the computer I'm on right now to be able to play CoH...Wow it was that long ago huh?
Won't be able to do that now. Although additons have been made looks like I'm still gonna have to dial 'er down...
For a while I was obsessed with this game and to this day I probably have a 50% chance of beating a random player.
Matter-of-fact I'm going to try and prove it to myself right now. -

Play the single player, and then watch some of these to get basic mechanics and mindset down:

They're pretty old but still worth watching. I suggest starting with #132, Back To The Basics (aka The Mental Checklist).
And as walker said, SC2 has some tutorials and challenge modes aimed at learning multiplayer

Company of Heroes is a fantastic game to learn on, and I would definitely recommend it over pretty much anything else.
The main reason is the setting. The fact that your infantry get destroyed by a machine gunner will make sense to you. A tank getting blown up by an anti-tank encampment will make sense to you. Tanks shrugging off tons and tons of hits will make sense to you.
These thigns actually go a long way towards making the game approachable. You will lose, but you will understand why a lot quicker than you would in most other games. -

does that really matter lol ? Sounds like a immature opinion - get real kid and start playing, even only for singleplayer, it's worth it, nobody looks your freaking scores and stats, they don't matter, it never matterd , it never will, only the 13year old never-got-laid teens care for scores who think some stats are so important ... :p
