Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 GameStop pre-order bonuses coming in waves

GameStop has announced stacking pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The first wave starts today, and guarantees the rewards from the other three waves.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is barely out of the starting gate with an announcement blitzkrieg last night, and already GameStop is touting its pre-order goodies. In a unique move, though, the retail chain is setting its pre-order bonuses around four "waves," with more rewards for early-comers.

The first wave starts today, and nets you a limited edition, two-sided poster. If you're a PowerUp Rewards member and pre-order by June 30, you'll also get a Prestige Token for Modern Warfare 3, letting you buy items in the Prestige shop. You'll also be assured the bonuses coming in the remaining waves--though what exactly those are remains unannounced.

          I just read it a lot you know...why does anybody buy it, the engine is so old etc etc...my fave is that people that buy it year in and year out is whats wrong with gaming yadda yadda yadda. Maybe "I" am whats wrong...when and if a new Guitar Hero or Rock Band 4 game comes out, I'll be all over those as well, and that genre is currently classed as dead, or crap or whatever...sorry for venting guys!!

        Honestly, the GS pre-order promo is really smart. It makes me want to pre-order now so I get *all* the goodies.

        Yep, I might stop by after class and put in my pre-order. If people get pissy because you like a certain game, then that's their problem.

      cant get any definative answers on wether this game has splitscreen co-op or not (xbox). will pre-order if it's confirmed

      Is anyone else having a problem with puting in the code for the waves of goodies. It says my code is invalid.

      Did your code end up working? I'm having a bugger of a time....did the first code, the email etc...then I go to get the prestige token for MW3, and it says "invalid email address"...and the log in with facebook doesn't look to be working.....
