PlayStation Plus members are entitled to a number of games as part of their subscription. In May, Plus subscribers will be able to download the brand new PSN game, Awesomenauts. In addition, members will also get access to Trine 2 and Rock of Ages from Atlus. PSone classics Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania Chronicles are also included.

This content makes May yet another banner month for Sony's premium subscription service, in spite of the recent loss of Qore. In addition, Plus members get beta access to PixelJunk 4am.

As usual, members will get access to a number of full game trials and free themes and avatars. There are also discounts, notably Rayman: Origins, which will be available for only $15 on Plus.

Two minis are also included this month: Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims and Velocity. For the complete list of updates, check out the PlayStation.Blog.

Plus is getting some really good titles. I'm not sorry at all for buying the one year.

Ditto. SoTN! I hope they patch the Vita firmware to support PS1 titles. I bet SoTN would look very nice on that big screen.

The Vita's starting to sound like a pretty attractive purchase. That's not something I wanted to happen...

People who say bad things about PSN+ obviously don't like free games for £40 a year.. Idiots.

free games + crap online/matchmaking service = not worth 40 anything....

if they were permanently free that would be worth it.... but its more or less Sony pullin a Gamefly style service card

The online/matchmaking is free, and works fine for me.

People who solely game on Xbox like the tell themselves that XBL is somehow WAY WORTH the extra money for the few little doodads you get via Gold. One of the lies they tell themselves is apparently that PSN is bad for 'matchmaking'.

It's much easier to join up with friends on XBOX live. If you don't game with people you know PSN is fine, otherwise XBL is worth the cash.

I discovered that I only enjoy gaming with close friends and playing with the hordes of Internet retards on XBL just isn't worth it. :(

I play with people I know. They just are sitting in the same room with me. I admit that sometimes games can be a hassle to play together, but most games worth their salt have their own matchmaking features, making it a non-issue (for the most part). But I'm not completely bashing the service. If you feel it is worth your money, that is your business, I was more flogging people who feel the need to bash one for the sake of the other.

I take it by your xbox matchmaking jibba jabba that you are indeed a Xbox guy, pay for gold?
