Diablo III open beta

Anxious for a taste of the upcoming fantasy action game Diablo 3? Download the client for Windows or Mac to participate in the open beta weekend, where players return to the town of Tristram to learn about the beginning of the end. You'll need to hurry, though! The open beta weekend lasts from Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT to Sunday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit demo

Spiderweb Software returns for the first chapter of an indie fantasy role-playing saga in Avernum: Escape from the Pit. Described as "a story of imprisonment, rebellion, and the struggle for freedom against overwhelming odds," players are free to explore enormous dungeons, towns, and cities, with over 50 spells and battle paths to choose from. Download the Windows demo, or the Mac demo, and get lost in the depths of a wonderful single player role-playing game.

Zigfrak beta

After discovering an alien threat close to home, Earth transforms into an isolationist covenant with security replacing liberty as human's top priority. Many humans rebel and leave their homeworlds to become Freerunners, who are relentlessly pursued by the military, while simultaneously defending their colonies from alien threat. Fistful of Frags mod

Fistful of Frags, version 3.7 of which released this week, is a "first person shooter set in the Old West times. Take part in frenzy team versus shootouts or play cooperative games against AI managed enemies. Most of the classic black powder guns are available, in single or dual wield setup." All you need is a copy of any Source powered game, and download the client. Or this patch if you have version 3.6 of Fistful of Frags.

Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge free game

Infamous Adventures presents their remake of Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge with over 4,000 lines of spoken dialogue, redrawn backgrounds, original music, and enhanced cinematics. Take on the role of Roger Wilco, janitor/hero, and save the galaxy from millions of cloned insurance salesmen! Download the Windows version, or the Mac Version.
