World of Warcraft announces 2012 Arena Pass
Blizzard has announced its World of Warcraft 2012 Arena Pass, letting players battle it out in a tournament for glory and a special title.
Ready to prove your skills in World of Warcraft? Blizzard has announced the 2012 Arena Pass, offering exclusive rewards, a new title, and for participants who upgrade to the Mists of Pandaria expansion, a special realm with better gear.
Blizzard announced that sign-ups begin April 10 to take part in the tournament. You'll be using level-85 character templates and epic gear from Cataclysm. The studio built a dedicated arena sandbox to support the tourney.
Everyone participating in the Arena will get an Armored Murloc in-game pet. Top players will be able to earn a "Vanquisher" title to slap on their live characters. Plus, if you buy both the Arena Pass and the Pandaria expansion, you'll get a level-90 realm with upgraded epic gear.
Blizzard hasn't detailed the price of an Arena Pass, but last year's cost a cool 20 bucks.
