The recent HD re-release of The House of the Dead 3 should've whet your appetite for braaaaiinnsss more zombie-shooting light gun action. The House of the Dead 4 is lurching onto the PlayStation Network on April 17th. Best of all, it carries a surprisingly low price tag: $9.99. "This will be the first time this classic arcade light gun shooter is going to be available on a home console," Sega's announcement notes.

The PS3 version of the game will offer PlayStation Move support, as well as additional levels from The House of the Dead 4 Special. There will be multiple paths, multiplayer, trophies, and an unlockable PlayStation Home item as well.

The PlayStation.Blog also details some of the bonuses in store for PlayStation Plus members. Subscribers will be able to get an early demo on April 10th. Then, Plus subscribers will be able to pick up the game for $6.99, and receive a free dynamic theme and avatars as well. Regular PSN users will have to wait until after the 24th to get their hands on the demo.
