Music Unlimited app now on Vita

Sony's subscription music service, Music Unlimited, is now available as a downloadable app for PS Vita on the PlayStation Store. The app offers access to a number of streaming radio channels, Pandora-style custom streams, and "Music Sync," which allows you to upload your music to the cloud for cross-platform playback. While the app is free, the service is not. Basic plans start at $3.99 a month, while Premium plans go for $9.99.
The Vita version has a few extra features over its PS3 and Android counterparts. Most importantly, you'll be able to download music for offline use. For example, you can "save" a radio station to download up to 25 songs from it automatically. Here's an overview:
Unfortunately for Vita 3G users, the Music Unlimited app will not work on a mobile connection. To use the app, you'll need to be connected to a wi-fi hotspot. The app will also not provide background music in your games.
