First Max Payne 3 PC screenshots surface

The first PC screenshots for Max Payne 3 have been revealed.

Though still getting ready for a May 29 release in North America (and June 1 in Europe), Rockstar Vancouver has unveiled the first PC-specific screenshots for Max Payne 3. The shots show off an incredible amount of detail, and feature Max with hair, Max without hair, and Max in a tense showdown with a member of a gang called the Crachá Preto. Roughly translated from Portuguese, the name means something along the lines of "Black Badge." Though little else has been shared today besides the screens, Rockstar promises more news about "special graphics hardware support and enhancements," as well as the much-anticipated system specs for PC "a bit closer to game release."

Not exactly the shirt we'd wear to a gunfight.

  I just caught the tail end of a TV ad last night that said May 15th. Is that maybe just for the console versions?
  Also, the little detail infobox for More Max Payne 3 says March 2012 still.

    The console versions are coming May 15th. Rockstar have yet to put out a concrete PC version release date.

  Usually Rockstar games (well, in the tradition of GTA) release console versions,
  with no word at all of pc version until like a year or so later, so I'm quite surprised they have already announced the PC version. Hopefully this means that the pc version will receive a lot of love. And by the looks of these sceenshots, it will!
