Ghost Recon Online closed beta starts March 5
Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon Online will begin its closed beta on March 5
Ghost Recon Online, the PC free-to-play multiplayer shooter, will begin its closed beta testing next month, on March 5. The beta was originally targeted for last summer, so obviously this is a wee bit late.
The game will rely on a microtransaction model for premium and personalization items. Three classes will be available from the start, and Ubisoft is planning regular in-game events and content updates. The beta is open for sign-ups at the official site, but then again, those sign-ups have been open since last May. If Ubisoft rolls waves out in first-come, first-served fashion, you might have to wait a while if you're just now hopping on the train.
