Dust 514 supports mouse and keyboard
Dust 514 will support USB keyboard and mouse controls as well as standard controllers, CCP has announced.
Dust 514 will have an option for keyboard and mouse control on the PlayStation 3, making it one of the few games to take advantage of that option on PS3. (Unreal Tournament 3 allows for KB&M play.) Given the game takes place in the same persistent world as EVE Online, the control option should come as a nice concession for those crossing over from the PC.
Dust 514 Base (via Joystiq) confirmed the support, and it was later reconfirmed with a tweet from CCP. The KB/M support does raise some question of how players using a controller will match up, since the control methods usually lead to a pretty steep skill disparity.
Dust 514 started accepting closed beta sign-ups last year. A release date for the title is still unknown.

Yes, my wish for this game came true. It's about time another game used the native keyboard and mouse controls that the PS3 has had sense day one. With Valve also supporting this in the upcoming CS: GO I hope that more game developers start utilizing the feature understand the demand there is for it on FPS games on a console.
