Try the DarthMod Shogun 2 modification for Total War: Shogun 2, which attempts to irradicate the "weak" arcade gameplay of the core game and replace it with better aritifical intelligence, control, and a re-designed melee system. Alter Ego demo

Set in the gorgeous town of Plymouth in the South of England during the 19th century, Alter Ego is a point-and-click adventure game with a sinister plot, as aritocrats begin to disappear without a trace. Age of Decadence public beta

Age of Decadence describes itself as an "isometric, turn-based, single-player 3D role-playing game set in a low magic, post-apocalyptic world, inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire." How you settle disputes depends on your character: will you force the enemy into compliance through combat? Or through wit and intellect? The future of this world depends on the choices you make.
