Still, if you've got a minute or two to fill this morning, stop your grinnin' and drop your linen to enjoy the snazzy new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. It won't show you how Gearbox's FPS will play, but it will show you some jolly nice static images rendered at 30fps to simulate motion.
The United States Colonial Marines aren't due to make planetfall on LV-426 again until fall 2012, following a delay. When it does arrive, it'll make contact with PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
"We don't want to sacrifice the creative process just for the sake of following a blue print," Gearbox and publisher Sega said in announcing the delay. "We prefer to have the creative discovery shape that blue print because our goal is to make a great game, and we are prioritizing this goal over the previously targeted date."
Enough waffle, time to lock and load with the trailer and a tune from Clint Mansell's Moon score.
