Dead Island publisher boasts 3 million copies shipped
Publisher Deep Silver has announced that 3 million copies of Techland's open-world zombie kill-fest, Dead Island have shipped.
In September, Dead Island publisher Deep Silver reported that it had shipped two million copies of the game to retail. In a recent interview, the publisher revealed that, in fact, three million units have been shipped to retailers, worldwide.
Deep Silver's Manager of Marketing and PR, Aubrey Norris told Game Informer that "Dead Island has sold very, very well over the holiday season and we are thrilled that it has sustained a robust level of sell-through since launch in September."
No data was provided illustrating how many of the units of the Techland-developed title have actually been sold.
