Modern Warfare 3 update re-balances weapons
Developers Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have pushed a new update to all versions of the best-selling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
All versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 received an update yesterday, but what did it add?
The latest update addresses a few weapon balancing issues, including fire rate normalization for Assault Rifles with mounts and reducing the hip-spread for the low recoil, Type95 rifle. Modern Warfare 3's map "Dome" will also see a few tweaks, as the developers attempt to fix a number of exploits players have discovered.
According to the official patch notes on the Modern Warfare 3 forum, the sixth title update for the game will include additional improvements to address lag, and a few other minor tweaks to help the game run smoother for fans.
Other updates are currently "in development and/or discussion," including updates to Modern Warfare 3's spawn system, and a few tweaks for competitive system link players.
Additional improvements to address lag. Fix for Melee Jump. Clan Tag Validation (remove buttons from clan tags). Improve Host Migration logic. Prevent stat loss when player loses connection from server (internet pull / drop).
