BioWare's Mass Effect 3 is just around the corner, launching in 2012. At the Spike VGAs, a new trailer for the upcoming title was presented, featuring a lengthy gameplay section.

The Reaper attack is in full swing this time, chasing Commander Shepard and his crew through a set of ruins. Check out Shepard attempt to outrun an onslaught of evil aliens as he and his crew look to save the universe from all out extinction.

        Thresher Maws are almost everywhere. There's probably a place with a Reaper and a Thresher Maw. They're attacking other places too.

    Not UI I guess, just the HUD. Hotkeys up top, makes sense to use the better looking version for trailers, but usually they do the 360 one anyway.

    Yep, Origin made BF3 unplayable and detracted from my experience playing the game immensely.

  looks ok, not sure I like the sped up look to the animations though. i can see how it would be more responsive that way but is it not possible to do it without making it look like it's running in fastforward?
