Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 pre-order costumes revealed

Capcom has unveiled the pre-order costume packs for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, which will give you outfits like Cyber Akuma and Elvis MODOK.

Capcom has taken the wraps off of its various pre-order bonuses for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and all of them grant you special costume packs for different sets of characters. You'll have to choose wisely to determine if you want mohawk-sporting Storm, Cyber Akuma, or Elvis MODOK -- or you could just wait for them to inevitably go on sale sometime after release. The Capcom Unity blog details the three different packs. GameStop pre-orders get the Femme Fatale pack, with Casual Friday Morrigan, Street Fighter Alpha Chun-Li, 80s Storm, and X-Men Evolution X-23. Amazon gets a scarf-less Strider, Cyber Akuma, old-school Sentinel, DoomWar Dr. Doom. Finally, the Best Buy pack gives you Secret Agent C. Viper, STARS Wesker, Annihilation Super Skrull, and easily the best costume of all: Elvis MODOK.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom DLC

The blog also teases DLC costumes for Jill Valentine, Shuma Gorath, Dante, Chris Redfield, Ryu, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America. Check out our gallery for closer looks at the new costumes. Mega Man X will also be making an appearance, but not as a DLC character. Instead, it turns out he will simply be an alternate costume for Zero. Somehow he crams all of those flowing locks into that little blue helmet.
