Drawsome tablet launching for Wii on Dec. 6
Ubisoft has announced that its Wii peripheral called the Drawsome Tablet will launch on December 6.
Ubisoft has officially announced a December release date for its upcoming Wii peripheral, the Drawsome tablet. Previously dubbed the "inTouch," the Drawsome tablet will ship this December, and will include two games: Drawsome Artist and Drawsome Sketch Quest.
The tablet measures six and one-half by five inches, includes a wireless stylus, and sports an "innovative transparency layer that covers the drawing area, so players can trace their favorite images."
Drawsome Artist is a game that lets players "draw, paint and color by sketching on their own or learning advanced art techniques step by step." Plus, The Smurfs. Drawsome Sketch Quest--the free title--is platformer with up to 4-player co-op in which players "help a variety of cute animals race through their world by drawing bridges, trampolines and more."
Other than having a name that Ubisoft likely wishes it didn't, THQ's competing uDraw tablet--which is available for the Wii and planned for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3--is quite similar to the Drawsome tablet, aside from a wired stylus.
The Drawsome Tablet for Wii will hit store shelves on December 6.
