Rainbow Moon brings classic SRPG gameplay to PS3 in 2012
SideQuest Studios, developer of PS3-exclusive Soldner-X series, is working on yet another exclusive downloadable for the PlayStation Network. Unlike their previous two efforts, their upcoming effort is not a shmup; it's an old-school SRPG.

Coming in early 2012 is Rainbow Moon, inspired by the classic isometric SRPGs of yore. "It's got all the features that you want from a traditional RPG," CEO Marcus Pukropski said.
Like any good old-fashioned RPGs, it will take quite a bit of time to get through the story--30 hours for the main story, and "100 hours or longer if you want to complete all side quests and achieve full character development." There will be six playable characters, more than 20 dungeons, about 100 special skills, customizable weapons, armors, accessories, and more.
A price has yet to be determined, but SideQuest expects it will be priced like most standard downloadables. "I'm sure it will be far below $40," Pukropski told the PlayStation.Blog.
