CryEngine used for skiing game titled 'Snow'
Indie developer Poppermost Productions showed off the debut trailer for Snow today, a skiing and snowboarding game. The team plans to release iterations of the game to encourage feedback on the finished product.
Indie Swedish developer Poppermost Productions has taken the wraps off its CryEngine-powered skiing and snowboarding game, Snow. Release details are as sparse as a secluded mountaintop at the moment, but Poppermost promises that it will be releasing an early version before the end of the year so they can incorporate feedback into the finished product.
The official site compares it to some extreme sports gaming luminaries like the 1080 and SSX franchises, as well as Skate. Version 0.1 will be released sometime in 2011, inviting players to "be a part of our development process."
All we can say for now is that it's an awfully pretty skiing game. Check out the debut trailer below.
