Like its predecessor, LittleBigPlanet 2 is getting a re-release of its own. Dropping the "Game of the Year" moniker as the first game, LittleBigPlanet 2: Special Edition is a full-priced retail game that includes $35 worth of DLC content on-disc.

Rise of the Cakeling, Media Molecule's biggest expansion for the LBP universe, takes center stage. This PlayStation Move-enabled adventure adds 5 new levels and new creation tools that take advantage of Sony's motion controller. In addition, the Special Edition includes the Toy Story Level and Costume packs, and Pets costumes.

The LittleBigPlanet 2: Special Edition will be available on November 15th. In addition, Sony will be releasing one more SKU: the LittleBigPlanet 2 PlayStation Move bundle. This packages both the Special Edition version of LBP2 with a Move motion controller, Navigation controller, and a PlayStation Eye. You can catch this at retail on the same day.
