Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim live-action trailer lands
Live-action trailers are perhaps the least useful video game trailers, but they certainly can be attractive. Here's a shiny one for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, giving very little idea of what the game's like, but looking pretty.
The gameplay walkthrough is surely the ruler of all video game trailers, wed to trailers of edited gameplay, and support by a court of short teasers, and cinematic trailers. At the bottom of the hierarchy, we have the court jester: the live-action trailer.
Still, the fool trailers can be pretty to look at, as is a new live-action trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Developed and published by Bethesda, Skyrim is headed to PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on November 11. That other Scrolls game, the digital card game from Minecraft maker Mojang, has defeated Bethesda parent company ZeniMax's interim injunction to block it from using the name, but the legal battle continues.
