Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 this December. But, isn't it too soon after the release of Deadliest Warrior: Legends to announce a brand new game? You're right! Ancient Combat isn't a new game. Instead, it's a retail re-release of the two downloadable games, with additional on-disc content.

In addition to Deadliest Warrior: The Game and Deadliest Warrior: Legends, the retail disc will include all of the post-release DLC packs, a new Graveyard arena, and 30 new weapons for Legends characters. In spite of the new additions, "the game will be fully compatible for online play with all versions of the game."

Not only does the disc include extra game content, it includes additional video content as well. Publisher 345 Games promises that the disc will include "never-before-released episodes from all three seasons."

Ancient Combat will be available in December for $29.99.
