Former Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk developer Neversoft is working on a first-person shooter for parent-company Activision. Plans for the project were reportedly spoiled by multiple listings that have appeared on the company's recruitment site.
The site notes Neversoft required talent for multiplayer level designers, network programers, and a Windows PC Platform lead engineer to work on a triple-A "new FPS."
The listing spotted by GamerZines points to a road ahead for the development house, who has not worked on a shooter title since 2005's western Gun.
Though a new Tony Hawk-branded title has yet to release since October 2010, Activision has stated they believe the skateboard icon has "Michael Jordan-ish or Jordan-esque staying power." Earlier this year the publisher put its Guitar Hero franchise on hold.
