Digital Reality's aerial racing game, SkyDrift, will be available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade next week.
Developer Digital Reality's aerial racing game, SkyDrift, will be available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade next week, the company has announced. With an emphasis on dogfighting, and the availability of six power-ups, SkyDrift looks like Mario Kart set in the skies. (Or, more aptly put, Diddy Kong Racing.)
"SkyDrift is more than your typical arcade style racing game," producer Peter Nyester said in a press release. "Skydrift combines all the best elements of arcade-heavy games with stimulating graphics and smooth game play - creating the ultimate racing experience."
The downloadable game will be available for $14.99 on September 7th. A PC version was announced, but hasn't been dated yet. If you missed the debut trailer, here it is again:
