Shacknews parent company GameFly is giving away five prize packages that include two tickets to the Call of Duty XP event in LA happening Sep 2 and 3.
Shacknews parent company GameFly wants to give you a pair of tickets to the Call of Duty XP event being held in Los Angelease Sep 2 and 3, and some spending cash to go along with them. Entry is easy. Head over to the contest page on Facebook, sign up, and answer a Call of Duty related question in order to be entered. Five winners will be randomly selected on Friday, Aug 26 at 1pm PST. They will receive two tickets to the event--valued at $150 each--and a $250 American Express Gift Card. Food and transportation are not included and please note that you must be 18 years of age or older to attend the event.
Activision announced Call of Duty XP earlier this summer and laid out battle plans for this inaugural event. Topping the list of activities for many will be getting a first crack at Modern Warfare 3. Demo stations for both multiplayer and Spec Ops modes are sure to draw long lines. But for those looking for something more active there will also be paintball and a real-life version of MW2's Spec Ops "The Pit" time trial. Add to that the usual convention fare of developer discussion panels and Q&A sessions, contests, and tournaments and you've got a lot to keep you busy over the Labor Day weekend.
